#Ep.11: In this episode we are absolutely thrilled to bring you a very special guest: Kenyan Physio Martin Ong'wen whom I had the pleasure of meeting during my time out there helping set up Run Beyond Kenya (see Episode 13).
Martin recently completed a 'tour' of the United Kingdom including a very well received guest speaker spot at the ‘Reasoning, Responsibility, and Reform in MSK practice’ conference organised by Jack Chew & the team of The Physio Matters Podcast. We talk to him about his experiences in the UK, life growing up in Kenya, the state of physiotherapy today in not only East Africa but worldwide, and we have a chat about exactly what makes Kenyan runners dominate distance running.
We hope this broadcast is as enjoyable and inspirational as it was for us. Martin is a super special guy with a huge message to get out there (and an even bigger smile!) so we would REALLY appreciate it if you could LIKE and SHARE this episode (especially on the all powerful iTunes) to help us spread Martin's good word! Thanks in advance and enjoy!
